So here's a funny story for you...
I'm sitting at church - acutally between performances of the singing Christmas tree and watching Michelle Hayes hand out Christmas cards (from I don't know who at the time). So as everyone seemed to be getting one I began to anticipate having one put into my hands as well. Oh wait look some people are opening their cards and pulling out a picture. How exciting, a photo Christmas blessing from the Wood Family - Neat, I am destined to get one for sure. Thinking in the back of my mind, I hope they got my Christmas card as well with the UCM picture I sent along! Person after person, opening card after card, when finally I look over at Mike States and say, "did you get one?"... "Yup" was his reply... then Christina Logan "you?"... "Yup" was her answer. What in the world I thought, so finally I yell accross the room to Michelle saying, "Hey Michelle, where's mine?" She yells back "your what?"... "My Christmas card from Dave!"... "I don't know" she says. Then the dreded 5 little words... "You weren't on the list"
WHAT THE...??? "How am I not on the list???" And now everyone is looking at me... and I don't feel stupid because I know it has to be a big mistake... I have not just been overlooked... so I wait and I wait knowing that I have not actually been forgotten and that one day it will arrive in the mail addressed especially for me :)
With deepest regret...I apologize for the oversight...
